Engineer | Cybersecurity Professional | Author | Entrepreneur

I'm a cybersecurity engineer who got scammed — four times. I lost money, trust, and nearly my home. Then I did what engineers do: I took the machine apart. Nine books later, I teach people how fraud really works, and I build companies that make the physical world safer too.

The story

Engineer first. Victim second. Author because of both.

Barkah Barcor at a New Dimensions trade show booth

I'm a mechanical engineer by profession who built a career across Saudi Arabia and Canada — founding the Mount Sinai Company and the Innovation Foundation Factory in Saudi Arabia, and engineering practical solutions along the way, from a mobile water cooler designed for Gulf heat to modifications for industrial RF sealing equipment in Canada.

In Canada I founded New Dimensions Solutions, makers of SKID SAFE™ non-slip technology — a product line trusted since 1986 that I helped grow, including developing the SKID SAFE bathtub kit for homes. My companies serve facilities, municipalities, and homeowners across North America.

Then came the scams. A deceitful lawyer. A real estate manipulation. A cryptocurrency scheme that drained my savings. A fraudulent stock play. Four times — and I'm a cybersecurity professional. If it could happen to me, it can happen to anyone, and that's exactly why I write: every book breaks down how these frauds work and how to stop them.

Today I run my companies, write, and speak about fraud, trust, and rebuilding. My newest mission, Review Defenders, takes the fight to fake reviews.
